When a Republican elected official like Sheriff Roger Brandner looks past party, and recognizes the governing experience, character and skills needed to work for solutions across party lines, it speaks volumes. I am grateful to Sheriff Brandner for his steadfast support and this wonderful testimonial of my credentials to serve as your next State Representative!

I am a proud supporter of our law enforcement personnel and understand the important roles they play in keeping our communities safe places to live, work and raise our families. To all the deputies, officers, correctional officers, dispatchers, emergency management personnel and administrative staff who work around the clock - thank you for all you do!

The mental health crisis in our communities cannot continue and private practitioners cannot be expected to shoulder the growing need for timely, affordable and compassionate care. Our state and local governments must work together to offer care and services to our neighbors who need it the most. I am grateful for Barry's endorsement and his recognition that my experience, and dedicated work on the County Board of Supervisors, positions me as the best candidate to make a difference and get to work for the people of Columbia and Sauk Counties.

Fighting for teachers, and our public school system, is one of my top priorities if elected to the State Assembly. Over 90 school referenda were on the ballot this past spring in Wisconsin. More than half failed. It isn’t because people don’t care about schools, but smaller communities, with limited tax bases, suffer a larger burden when passing referenda to spend additional dollars. The State must return to a full 2/3 funding formula to help small rural school districts survive. I am committed to making our kids a top priority!

It has been my absolute honor to work with Tom in support of our county's residents and the hardworking, dedicated employees who work tirelessly on their behalf. The services offered, and the empathetic and professional way in which our county employees provide them, are an incredible asset to our communities. Tom is an outstanding example of what it means to be an actively involved citizen and I am grateful for his efforts on the Health and Human Services Board. Community members working to advocate for their neighbors is something we should all aspire to!

I am proud to have the support of many of my peers on the Columbia County Board. Here are a few of them from the 40th Assembly District. These individuals have witnessed my leadership on the board and appreciate my experience in governing with a purpose for solutions. I look forward to bringing new leadership to the Capitol and will work hard to make sure our government becomes a benefit and not a burden.

Being a REALTOR is important to me and something I am very proud of.

All of the REALTORS I know and work with are determined and dedicated to growing communities and supporting the housing needs of all residents.

That is why I am especially proud to be endorsed by the Wisconsin REALTORS Association and I look forward to working in Madison to help promote solutions to the critical housing shortage issue throughout Wisconsin.

Parade fun

It’s been a fun summer on the campaign trail, including walking in several parades throughout the community.

We had a great time at the Pardeeville 4th of July parade earlier this month. Special thanks to my mom and dad for always being my biggest supporters!

On July 28, we joined in the fun at the Plain Fire & EMS Celebration and really enjoyed meeting some great people!
